Lawmaker Dies in Grisly Accident [PHOTOS
- Residents of Lakeview Ward in Naivasha, on Sunday, April 19, woke up to the sad news of the untimely demise of area MCA Karanja Mburu.Jubilee Party Nakuru branch secretary Peter Cheruiyot, confirmed the incident, adding that the MCA was on his way to Nakuru when the tragedy took place.
Mburu is said to have lost control of his vehicle and veered off the road, hitting a tree at Viewpoint area near Gilgil Diatomite Industries along the Nakuru-Nairobi highway.

According to the Standard, Gilgil Sub-County Commissioner Ndambuki Mutheki informed the media that the MCA died on the spot.
"There was an accident early in the morning in which Lakeview MCA in Naivasha lost control of his vehicle and hit a tree and then rolled several times. The police are at the scene," Mutheki stated.
Police stated that the MCA's body was moved to Umash Funeral Home in Nakuru.
Former Naivasha MP John Mututho has since sent his condolence message to the family of the youthful leader.
"Karanja kept the county government on its toes and it’s a sad day that we are mourning him when he was at his peak," Mututho stated
Mburu posted his last message on Facebook on Friday, April 18, at 8:29 am, where he urged Kenyans to never under-estimate their efforts.
"Never under-estimate your effort, no matter how little. Every effort, little or great is a step closer towards the actualisation of your dreams. Asante," he wrote on Facebook.
